Porto Tile House

I enjoyed the room a lot, liked the closeness to the sea, the Douro and the historical sights.

Pros: Small nice room, clean. The Owner helped me to bring my suitcase up the stairs. I brought earplugs given the closeness to a very busy street. Since I Stayed longer, I was very happy there was a small supermarket basically around the corner.

Cons: The Stairs, but it is an old house.

Pros: Everything. Perfect room, perfect location. I would love to stay there again next visit to Porto. Photos are exactly as it is. Beautiful.

Perfect authentic stay for solo traveller

Pros: Loved my stay here. I had read the room description and the reviews, so I was aware that the view is not or the river. The accommodation has a lovely charm to it. The owner was really friendly when I met him on the stairs one day. The whole place is very clean and has nice little touches. I was really impressed with all the cutlery and plates etc. No complaints at all. Perfect for a solo traveller who is happy to stay somewhere at a lower price point but still have all the basic comforts.

Such a lovely decoration

Pros: Sardinha, the studio I stayed is very lovely. It’s equipped with fridge, microwave, hairdryer. It’s very clean and super well located.

Cons: You can listen to people talking in other buildings or street. I was lucky and I was only disturbed by that in one evening Ann’s stopped by 1am.

Pros: The location was excellent Thankfully the hotel next door were very helpful

Cons: Photos were misleading of the exterior and type of room I.e. No big picture windows and no view

Outstanding facilities

Pros: Absolutely gorgeous building. Extremely well maintained and organised. Perfect setup for my stay.

Really good and good price

Pros: It was close to the city’s center and hade both stores, restaurants and beautiful spots in the area. At the evening you can really see the city come to life and still have close to home.

Cons: The apartment I had was smaller than I thought. But good enough space for one person

Mini apartment full of charm

Pros: Brilliant location. Easy to walk to all the major sites. Very pretty apartment full of charm

Cons: There was no fan or air conditioning. Very warm in the room & the sash windows wouldn't stay open. Was a little noisy outside in the evenings as near bars
