Clean and basic hotel in the city center

Pros: The hotel is located in the city center, everything is in a walking distance. The bedrooms are clean, and the owner is very kind, he leaves a bottle of Porto producted by his family in the kitchen to taste. There is the possibility to leave the lugagges after check-out.

Cons: Some bedrooms are really small, and in the street there were many people making noise all night long.

Location is the winning factor, hotel is very very basic but also clean, functional and ok for singles or couples for on

Pros: Location is fantastic if you want to be in the centre amongst the city life. Hotel is a bit like a cross between a hostel and hotel so don’t expect a lot of staff or anything fancy. Rooms were small and basic and not over decorated but clean , functional and the shower was good - the shampoo and shower gel were probably left overs from previous guests (good enough for us, we aren’t too fussy). We were two friends doing city break so don’t spend much time at the hotel anyway. Great value for money if you just want basics in a go-to location.

Cons: Not much security so lock your door. Noisy location but it’s bang central in the city so to be expected.

Great location, basic but clean accommodation

Pros: The location was great, the room was clean but basic, and the air con worked well and had good water pressure for a shower. The old building with lots of quirky features.

Cons: The TV didn't have sound. The room was small, literally just enough room to walk around the bed. The floor was not level, so the bed moved overnight.
