Good value Art Deco hotel in a good location.

Pros: Lovely art deco hotel. Very comfortable and in a good location.

Cons: Need to change coffee beakers in room which have no handles. Really dangerous to handle when trying to have a hot drink.

Pros: Upgrade to double room much appreciated. Staff helpful and friendly.

Cons: Air con too smelly to use so I was a bit cold. Seemed like bathroom smells being circulated.

Pros: Location was perfect. Very helpful pleasant staff.

Cons: Layout of room , the bed was too close to the desk . I had to move the chaIr out to get to the fridge or closet.

Pros: We loved it ,staff all spoke good English, friendly, well mannered and above all great location. Rooms very clean .

Cons: What disturbed me was the rooms are not sound proof , the people in the next room sounded as if they were in our room .Lucky thing was we did not speak the same language.But above all we had a good stay . Excellent 👍. Thank you.

Pros: Location ok but in a very hilly area. Helpful staff.

Cons: I only asked for the room to be cleaned once during my stay. No coffee was left and dirty cup ignored.Stylish hotel

Great central location and very pleasant stay overall

Pros: The hotel is in a fantastic central location — everything is easily reachable on foot, which made exploring the city incredibly convenient. The interior is beautifully designed, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were clean and well-maintained.

Cons: The only downside was the breakfast. The selection and variety were quite limited and could definitely be improved.

Excellent value for money, Staff-particularly the two 'Ana's' very polite and helpful. Would return.

Pros: The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. However the food was repetitive and always tepid. Hot water for tea was again 'just hot'. Dining room very clean and well laid out.

Cons: See above. The bar was poorly stocked and uninviting (lacked atmosphere) - profit opportunity missed?

Our stay was enjoyable, better than expected, we would stay here again.

Pros: This is a boutique hotel tucked away in a quiet street, within walking distance to the Douro river and all attractions. It has a lovely breakfast room and small intimate bar. The staff are very helpful.

Cons: Bathroom was a little small but still fine
