Luxury hotel in prime location

Pros: This hotel was pure luxury located in an extremely convenient position. It’s a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Cons: When ordering poached eggs for breakfast, it took an extremely long time to come out after having to ask several times if they were forgotten

Pros: Great location, room was good and very clean. Breakfast was good.

Cons: We were very disappointed with the food in the main restaurant; it was not very warm, and hardly anybody used it in the evening.. Very surprised that you had to pay extra for certain parts of the breakfast.

Fantastic Location

Pros: Great location. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. The room was spacious and the view was great.

Cons: Unfortunately, there was construction happening right infront of the hotel. But nothing can be done about that, probably in some months it will be resolved.

So happy to have stayed at the Intercontinental Porto! Fabulous start to our holiday in Portugal! You will not be disapp

Pros: Location, location location! You can walk to every major attraction from here. ( there are some hills though! ) Beautiful room looking out to the Douro and Cathedral. Spacious and soft bed. Amazing shower too. All the comforts of home. Breakfast daily was included and set us up for the day. Staff were engaging and helpful on every level!

Cons: Renovations in the square outside and around the Säo Bento ( for past 4 years) mean that accessing the car area for dropping off bags can be a little difficult, but the concierge sort things out pretty efficiently and they park your car for the period you’re staying in Porto.. you don’t need a car at all!

A wonderful palace hotel in the heart of a beautiful city.

Pros: We loved the central location of the hotel. The staff were very kind , courteous and attentive to our needs. There were small nice touches that the staff had done throughout our stay.

We really enjoyed our stays at this excellent hotel.

Pros: Excellent location, walking distance to many of the major attractions. Very comfortable large room. Very good breakfast and bar area. Very pleasant and helpful staff.

Cons: Current work on the new metro line close to the hotel did create traffic congestion.

Great introduction to Porto , I’m not British though … Irish !

Cons: Shower could have been a little better, water pressure was weak

Beautiful hotel in the grandiose style of architecture. Very helpful staff. Did not eat there so no comment on the food.

Pros: Perfectly situated to walk around the area. Very close to restaurants and pedestrianised area.
