Vila Gale Porto - Centro

Pros: Breakfast was good, with a variety of options to choose from. The pool and sauna were nice, although access was limited to one hour per room per day. I booked a time slot via my.vilagale.com. There weren’t many people, possibly because it was February. The room was warm enough, so we didn’t need to turn on the air conditioning. There are several specialty coffee cafés within walking distance (5–10 minutes). The room was cleaned every day, and everything was fine. The staff was friendly.

Pros: We visited the spa and the restaurant Massa fina. It was all very good. The pool was a bit cold but the sauna helped to warm up a bit. We also had lunch at the restaurant, it was okay.

Pros: The breakfast buffet was excellent and one of the highlights of our stay. There was a wide variety of continental options, along with a live omelette counter and plenty of other choices to suit different tastes. Everything was fresh and well presented. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

Cons: Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with the beds, including the sofa bed. The main beds were not of good quality and sank in, making them uncomfortable to sleep on. The sofa bed, which my child slept on, was very springy and not suitable for a child, as it did not provide proper support. Overall, the sleeping arrangements significantly affected our comfort during the stay.

Pros: The location was perfect, only 20 minutes walking to some touristic places and 2 minutes walking to the metro station. Room was clean bed was comfortable.

Cons: For being a 4 star hotel I was expecting a bit more. The corridors looked a bit old fashioned. We had to pay 4€ each to buy a swimming cap to be able to use the pool and jacuzzi, first time ever we’ve been charged in a hotel for this.

Good stay, the hotel has everything you need to for a short stay

Pros: The hotel is well located, it has amenities, such as pool, spa, room service and restaurant. The staff was quite helpful. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of variety.

Cons: It requires a bit of renovation; however, the room is comfortable.

Pros: gym was great with a great view rooms were spacious, with good aircon bar area/lobby was also great. barman was very helpful location was excellent

Cons: some of the staff were a little surly, and not very helpful (not all of them but a couple). no decaffeinated coffee at breakfast no kettles in the room walls ere quite thin, which meant we could hear our nieighbours tv

Pros: Everything was OK, the breakfast is realy good. The location is close to city center. Everywhere we went walking. In the bar was live music, very kind personal.

Cons: It is a bit expensive, the pool is quite small in so big hotel. We could spend only 1 hour a day is wellness.
