Pros: Convenient to the centre- 20 min walk or 5 min uber to the port cellars and river

Cons: Not much facilities inside but lots of local cafes close by. Plus 3 min from a Starbucks

Great Value for Money & Comfort

Pros: I was very happy with my choice to stay at ClipHotel. It’s not in the main city but just a few metro stops and you’re in the heart of beautiful Porto. The rooms were good with daily cleaning, which i really appreciate. The breakfast isn’t a hot breakfast but not bad. The metro station is literally 2 minutes from the hotel. The ladies at the reception desk were very helpful, especially the ones who were there around 8 am. They helped me with all my metro related questions and also changed my room, when i asked them. A big thank you.

Cons: Not a dislike, but something peculiar. One night i asked the gentleman at the reception if they had a lighter or matches. He said a clear no. But when i was out smoking he came out himself, lit a cigarette and started smoking 😃 Don’t know if he didn’t like my asking or was just racist.

Very pleasant

Pros: The room was very comfortable, generally well-maintained, and spacious. No sound from the adjacent rooms or corridor was audible.

Cons: Room curtains' cleanliness. I am not giving an excellent rating to the cleanliness because the curtains were stained.

Would redommend for anyone staying in Vila Nova de Gaia

Pros: Located right next to a mall. Modern and clean property. The staff is friendly. The room was spacious and had a small terrace which was very pleasant. The hotel has a parking for a very descent price which is so convenient.

Cons: The family room is good, however you might feel claustrophobic as there are no windows next to the first 2 single beds. I would recommend the room for 2 adults max with kids. Breakfast is basic.

Great location for exploring Porto

Pros: Great location for exploring Porto. Rooms were simple but comfortable and the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful.

Cons: Nothing really, it was a nice stay

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The positives outweigh the negatives!

Pros: The friendly and most helpful staff, the comfortable bed, the fact that parking was available. Having a balcony was an excellent and unexpected bonus. The fresh squeezed orange juice at breakfast was so good. Having the Metro station so close was so good as we used it every time we went to Porto.

Cons: The shower was rather tight, breakfast on one of the days of our stay (Sunday) was not so good. How to get to the garage was a challenge late on a Friday afternoon when there was heavy traffic in town.

Pros: The location is excellent for visiting Porto and the bodegas in Gaia. Only 60metres from the metro station and 2€ into Porto. All areas were clean with daily room service. Reception staff very helpful.

Cons: Whilst all areas were clean I did see in my room that the corners in the bathroom by the shower screen had been missed or were becoming rusty. Only a small point.

4 days in Lisbon

Pros: Reception staff helpful. . Good breakfast with fresh orange juice, nice staff. Rooms clean, housekeeping also good A couple more news channels in English would have been a bonus. 3 min walk to metro and Il Corte Englaise Department store with huge Supermarket. Also Food Hall options and restaurant. Ask for a quiet room when booking.

Pros: Pleasant stay and clean room. Solo trip and felt safe. Good location for tram and bus. Friendly staff.
