Great stay at this lovely guesthouse.

Pros: Stylish rooms in a historic house. Very friendly and helpful staff in a beautiful city.

Pros: The hotelier greeted us and brought us a bottle of port and some water to our room as a welcome gesture. The staff were all very polite, kind and chilled. The room was clean, tidy and quiet. The building itself is beautiful and there is a restaurant decked out in art deco style furnishings where you're welcome to sit, as well as a garden outside. We felt really welcome and at home. We're sad to leave!

Pros: A very beautiful and well-located hotel. The staff is very committed to the well-being of their guests. Clean and pleasant. I recommend it.

A beautiful guesthouse with spacious and elegant rooms, great location, attentive staff.

Pros: The Guesthouse is incredibly beautiful, very attentive staff, easy check in and check out. Very beautiful and spacious room, delicious breakfast.

Cons: Breakfast service was quite slow - On both mornings I had to wait up to 25 minutes to get my breakfast, which messes a bit with my schedule. The staff was incredibly friendly though.

Pros: Location and the guesthouse was full of character. the breakfastwas vegan/vegetarian, using fresh ingredients.

Cons: Maybe air conditioning as the room was very warm and the fan extremely noisy.

Pros: Lovely old property in a good, walking location for the city. Really nice, spacious room and a good breakfast available too.

A very comfortable property with spacious rooms

Pros: The rooms were lovely and ours overlooked the garden. It was also a very convenient walk to everything we wanted to do.

Pros: Beautiful building, comfortable rooms and very friendly staff. Hotel is very close to the city center and we could easily walk to restaurants and attractions. Everyone treated our baby so well, he was truly enjoying himself there!

Cons: We traveled with a baby, so the stairs to get to the room after a day of walking could be challenging sometimes. But the hotel is lovely, next time we should book the garden room 😊

Pros: This is really a delicate place, you can appreciate their design from rooms to garden, or enjoy their host from breakfast time to front door service. Even they are not in the heart of tourist zone, however, you are close to beautiful parks of the cities, and quiet corner to relish the Douro river. I really like this special and lovely space, and strongly suggested to people who love historical and classical touch.

Pros: Such a unique and special place, so clean and comfortable. Staff were lovely without being overbearing, even let us check in a bit early! Delicious breakfast, leave plenty of time to enjoy.
